Registration for summer camp opened Monday, January 30, 2012. If you are interested in registering for a camp program, please bring your completed registration form (one for each child) and payment to the Nature Centre. See table below for list of camp sessions still available. For all camp sessions that are FULL, please note that we do have a waiting list. If you would like to be added to a waiting list for a FULL program, please contact us at the Nature Centre.

| KNEE-HIGH NATURALISTS Parent & Child Summer Nature Camp | Kids and caregivers alike hone their naturalist skills through outdoor exploration. We craft, we read stories, we hike and we play! Join us in High Park as we search for animal homes, hunt for bugs, explore for wildflowers, and watch birds. This popular program helps foster awareness and appreciation of nature. Caregivers learn many new ways to introduce their kids to the natural world. Younger siblings are welcome. | |

Discover the amazing diversity of plants, animals and insects of High Park’s forest, savannah and wetland habitats. “Nature Nuts” in training will develop their naturalist skills while exploring the nature trails in High Park. Campers will play nature games, make nature crafts to take home, swim at the pool, go on scavenger hunts, and meet lots of new friends! | |

| YOUNG NATURALISTS CLUB Summer Nature Camp | The Nature Centre’s Young Naturalists Summer Club is for kids who are seriously serious about nature! Studying a new natural history theme each day, campers will have fun learning how to hone their observation, identification, and environmental stewardship skills. Club members will also be visited by “guest” local naturalists as they come into their own as naturalists. | |

This year we will be selling High Park Nature Centre t-shirts for $20 each. T-shirts are made of organic cotton and come in two colours: River Blue and Mocha (click on the image to view in full size).

Please note registration policies and other important information below!
| Location | Programs take place at the High Park Nature Centre located on the eastern perimeter of the park at 440 Parkside Drive (at the intersection of Parkside Drive and Indian Valley Crescent). |
| Registration | Pre-registration is required for all programs. Registration cannot be confirmed until payment has been received. |
| Age Requirements | For all programs, children MUST be of the minimum age of the program on or before the start of the program. |
| Registration Policies | Programs are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration dates are announced about one month prior to the registration date to those people who are on our e-mailing list. If unable to register in person, you can send another person in your place to register your child(ren). This person may only register the children in a single family sharing the same address. This policy is in place to prevent a single person from registering several children from several families. We will not make exceptions to this policy. |
| Cancellation Policy | Plans can change quickly. For a refund, please email or call in your request at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. An administration fee of 10% will be charged for early cancellations. For requests received less than 10 business days prior to the start of program, an administration fee of 50% of the fee will apply. A full refund will be issued if a program is cancelled by the Nature Centre. |
| Weather Policies | Programs will proceed rain, snow or shine. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather as we will be outdoors for most of the activities. Indoor programs will be run in the case of severe inclement weather such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, snowstorms or high winds over 35 km per hour. We also advise wearing long pants, socks and long sleeved tops to protect against poison ivy. If you have any questions please call our office at 416-392-1748 ext. 2. |
