 2016/2017 FEES

Half-day program:
$8 per student
A minimum fee of $120 applies to all groups for half-day programs

Full-day program:
$14 per student
A minimum charge of $210 applies to all groups for full-day programs.

High Park Through the Seasons (Three Part Program):
$21 per student
A minimum charge of $315 (full payment for all seasons) applies for all High Park through the Seasons bookings.
Your class must attend one program in the fall, one in the winter and one in the spring to qualify for the discounted rate.
Fee must be paid for ALL students in your class; we do not charge on a per student basis for this program regardless of individual absences on the day of the trip.

Maximum 30 students per program.
A maximum of 6 adults (including teachers and adult volunteers) participate at no charge.


PROGRAM TIMES

Morning program: 9:30 – 11:30 am

Afternoon program: 12:30 – 2:30 pm

Full Day program: 9:30 – 2:00 pm

Note: For Full Day programs, lunch will be from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM (30 minutes)

Double bookings are now available: on available Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons. Please inquire about double bookings at the time of booking. Dates not guaranteed. Maximum remains 30 students per program.


ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

The High Park Nature Centre offers high quality curriculum-based outdoor environmental education and stewardship programs that:

  • Engage students in hands-on exploration of the natural world
  • Inspire appreciation and respect for High Park’s wildlife, flora and fauna
  • Facilitate community-based stewardship of nature in Toronto’s largest urban park
  • Develop understanding of ecological principles and human interactions with the natural world

Our programs are designed to meet objectives in the Ontario Curriculum for Grades KG – 12: Science and Technology.  We also have programs which meet objectives in Mathematics, Social Studies, History and Geography, and Health and Physical Education. Please inquire about any specific curriculum goal or focus you would like emphasized.
